Real Food

Real Food by Nina Planck (image from amazon.com)

I stumbled upon this book over the weekend & was up into the wee hours of the night reading it! If you haven’t read this book, I would highly suggest picking up a copy – trust me you won’t be able to put it down. It’s full of comparisons of food now days vs food back in the day & health wise how they compare. Any book that suggests butter & fat are good for you I’m all about!

    Hi Sweetie!!
How wonderful to have another way of communication with you. That book sounds amazing, we all need to get back to the basics of cooking and eating! I think if we look at the way our great grandmothers and for some of you young girls great great grandmas cooked and prepared the food we would see healthier eating. I feel this world has gotten so fast paced. And we must not get into that cycle. We were made to be the helper to our husbands & mothers to our children so we fill our cabinets with the food they eat. We have a lot of control what goes into our loved ones mouths. We must not be so busy outside the home that when we prepare our meals it’s take-out or processed foods we set before them. I thank God for the things He has placed before me and one of them is my daughter Samantha, let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Hebrews 10:24 Walking with Him
